The worldwide, cultural phenomenon of The Hunger Games explores chilling questions: how can the media be used as a tool for social control? How do citizens discern what is “real” in the world of reality TV? What effect does exposure to violence and suffering have on the thoughts, emotions, and behavior of our citizens – including our children. A panel of media specialists debates these timely questions, with audience participation.
