Frazier History Museum

The Frazier Museum is especially keen to welcome Grandparents to the museum! We think that our line-up of exhibitions and programs will evoke a wide range of emotions, and provide quality family time that is both educational AND engaging to guests of all ages.

Exhibits on display tell a wide range of stories:  Spirits of the Bluegrass: Prohibition and Kentucky presents a different window into the past of our city and region. The Lewis and Clark Experience and Stewart Toy Soldier Gallery offer opportunities to play as you learn. See the ‘Exhibitions’ tab, above, for exhibit dates and descriptions.

In addition to gallery exhibitions, Grandparents tell us that they appreciate:
• Active play areas and daily performances to engage learners of all ages
• Easily accessible location in downtown Louisville
• Convenient on-site parking
• Plentiful seating
• Average visit duration of two hours

 Upcoming Quarterly Grandparents’ Lounge

Grandparents and those in their care are invited to relax, take light refreshments, and engage in some quiet event-themed activities.  Join us in the Grandparent's Lounge on May 13th  from 11am to 3pm during our Second Saturday Programming

We hope to see you and your grandchildren!
