Owsley Brown Frazier Classic Annual Sporting Clay Tournament

The first annual Owsley Brown Frazier Classic Annual Sporting Clay Tournament, named in honor of the founder of the Frazier History Museum, will take place, from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., on Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Elk Creek Hunt Club, 1860 Georgetown Road, Owenton, KY 40359. Proceeds will benefit exhibitions, programs, and operations at the Frazier History Museum.
The Frazier Classic will feature shotguns, and the tournament, spread over Elk Creek Hunt Club’s 2,500 acre hunting preserve, will be shot as 100 target rounds. Participants are responsible for bringing their own shotgun to the event or procuring a rental from Elk Creek Hunt Club (please note there are a limited supply of rentals available). All levels of shooters are welcome!
Awards and prizes will be given for the best overall score(s) and a long bird competition.

Elk Creek Hunt Club is unmatched in its world-class sporting clays facilities. Three separate courses, one over water, offer 45 newly remodeled and paved sporting clays stations. Elk Creek evokes the thrill of hunting as 40 and 65 foot towers throw clay targets over natural cover and water simulating the excitement of wild gamebird flight. Elk Creek’s sporting clays courses are spread over 2,500 acre hunting preserve which also supports the best of upland field and woodland hunting.

Entrance into the tournament is $200/person or $800/team of four. Each participant will receive:
- Shooter swag bags
- Individual coaching assistance
- Golf carts (for 2 or 4 persons)
- Four boxes of shells per shooter
- Catered lunch
- Awards ceremony featuring Kentucky bourbons and hors d’oeuvres.
Event – Day Itinerary:
- Arrival: 10:00 A.M.
- Registration: 10:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M.
- Lunch: 11:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.
- Safety Demonstration: 12:30 P.M. – 1:00 P.M.
- Tournament: 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.
- Award Ceremony and Cocktail Reception & Hors d’oeuvres: 4:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Deadline to register for the Frazier Classic is Monday, June 6, 2016. All participating team members must be finalized by this date.
