Tales of Poe: Student Art Display

Poe-Inspired Student Art Display

This artwork, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, was created through a partnership between the museum’s Education Department and three local schools: DeSales High School, duPont Manual High School and Presentation Academy.  Students were asked to create works of art inspired by the eerie world of Poe for display on-site and/or on the Frazier Museum website. Special congratulations go out to Kenna Carman(1st Place), Maddie Mattheu (2nd Place), and Isabel Mosely (3rd Place), all of duPont Manual High School for their top scoring pieces.

Submissions were juried by staff from the Frazier History Museum, Louisville Visual Art, Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft (KMAC), and Speed Art Museum.
