Back by popular demand, White Christmas: The Exhibition will be on display this holiday season! Visitors will see costumes, posters, and memorabilia from the 1954 classic film starring Kentucky's own Rosemary Clooney, along with Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Vera-Ellen. On loan from the Rosemary Clooney House in Augusta, KY, the exhibit includes authentic props from the film with several costumes — including the blue dresses Clooney and Ellen wore as they sang “Sisters” – where visitors will hear the stories behind the objects and characters of White Christmas.
The Frazier wants to know which singer or band YOU think did it best!
Was it Bing Crosby, Otis Redding, Taylor Swift? We challenge fans of “White Christmas” and friends of the Frazier to submit their favorite version for a prize. Simply “like” the Frazier History Museum on Facebook, post your favorite version (include a video if you can!) and tag us with your submission.
Everyone who plays along will be entered to win a Family Membership to the Frazier and a $100 gift card in our museum store – which is stocked with local artisan crafts and goods and tons of great gifts. Just to up the ante, if you submit a video of you and your friends or family singing “White Christmas,” you will also receive 1 free pass to see the exhibit! To stoke the winter fires a bit, our Frazier staff has submitted their own White Christmas performance to kick things off.
The deadline to be entered to win prizes and passes is December 26th.
