Second Saturday: The Mighty Ohio River

Louisville wouldn’t exist if not for the treacherous falls located on the Ohio River between modern-day Louisville, KY and Clarksville, IN.  The Great River spans 981 miles, flows past six states, and provides over five-million people with drinking water today. We’ll spend the day celebrating the history of the river that has given us so much, and has seen everything from ancient buffalo herds, to steamboats, to our modern day city.  We’ll have History in Hand stations, special performances, a boat-making craft and activities presented by our friends from the Louisville Water Company.  Come learn about what makes the Ohio River -- our river -- so very special!

There's no need to register to be able join in on the fun! Programming is included with the cost of admission and free for Members.
