Get Healthy in the Garden: Chant for Peace

July 10- August 31

This summer we are hosting over thirty sessions of outdoor activity in our Gateway Garden*  - a hidden outdoor oasis of native plants in downtown Louisville. Chanting meditation, Tai Chi, and Hip Hop dance sessions are free of charge and open to all, thanks to generous support from partner organization Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Join us on Wednesdays and Saturdays this summer starting July 10th until August 31st.

CHANT FOR PEACE | WEDNESDAYS, 12 – 1 PM

Sanskrit mantras have been used for millennia to connect humans to sound vibrations and more blissful states of existence. Instructor Tara Kimes will lead a kirtan, a call-and-response form of ancient mantra practice. Please bring a towel or blanket to sit on. Chairs will be available.

Each participant will receive a free canvas tote bag with a water bottle and a nutritional handout

*Weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, sessions will be moved to the Frazier’s Fourth Floor Loft.
