Moved By Music: Violins of Hope

Violins of Hope is a testament to the power of music during the most horrific of circumstances, the Holocaust. The violins provided a voice of hope. Music is that universal language of expression that can give hope, offer a voice, bring joy, perhaps solace….music is deeply personal to everyone. Join us on October 20th to express why you are “Moved by Music.”

The Louisville Orchestra’s Teddy Abrams will open the event with a few words, then play the instrument of his choice.
Musicians / Organizations who will be involed this evening include:
Lost Tribe
Louisville Folk School
Maestro J and Kentucky Country Day School Chamber Ensemble
Classical Revolution
Jecorey Arthur and Miles Howerton
WESTEC/ArtsReach Student Violinists

The performances will culminate with a special jam session with all of the musicians. We invite you to join us for this unique experience! This event is free and open to the public, simply register above.
