Immerse yourself in the pride of the commonwealth with this exclusive Bourbon and craft beer event celebrating Kentucky’s booming beverage industry. Join Brown-Forman Master Distiller and 2017 Bourbon Hall of Fame inductee, Chris Morris, co-founder of MB Roland Distillery, Paul Tomaszewski, and New Albanian Brewery’s Josh Hill as they lead tastings and share stories that take you behind the curtain. Learn about Woodford Reserve’s Wheel of Taste, MB Roland’s namesake, and New Albanian's pivotal role in the craft beer boom.

Tastings will be as Follows:

Brown-Forman:
Woodford Reserve:
Taste: Rich, chewy, rounded and smooth, with complex citrus, cinnamon and cocoa.
Toffee, caramel, chocolate and spice notes abound.Finish: Silky smooth, almost creamy at first with a long, warm satisfying tail

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked: Taste: A full-bodied mix of vanilla, dark caramel, hazelnut, apple, fruit and spices Finish: Long and creamy with lingering hints of honeyed apple

MB Roland
Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey: This bourbon uses local, food-grade white corn. The product in bottled at distillation and barrel proofed in the style of a Pre-Prohibition bourbon. The result is a unique, very full-flavored whiskey that typically comes in at between 105 - 115 Proof.

Dark Fired Bourbon: Unique to Western Kentucky, much of the corn used in the mash bill is dark fired (smoked), and then aged in used bourbon barrels. The result is something a little lighter than bourbon, but with all of the campfire and bbq notes provided from the dark fired corn.  

New Albanian Brewery:
Community Dark
English-style mild ale. Aroma: Cocoa, Roast, Coffee, and Caramel. Flavor Profile: Light-bodied, Roast, Chocolate, Plum, & Hints of Coffee

Frankenstein Hefeweizen:
Aroma: Tropical Fruit (Mandarin, Orange, & Mango) Citrus, Pine, Blueberry, and Peach. Flavor Profile: Tangerine, Papaya, Rose, Citrus w/ a Good Malt Backbone.
