Join us for a spirited evening of Poe and Potions - cocktail making with Jeptha Creed followed by a discussion with Dr. Hal Poe, and Tony Dingman on the life and works of Edgar Allan Poe on and off the page, moderated by Penny Peavler.

5:30 PM: Jeptha Creed will be leading a mix your own cocktail session using their Straight 4-Grain Bourbon, made with Bloody Butcher Corn. Appetizers will be served during the first part of the program.

6:00 PM: Penny Peavler will lead a discussion about Edgar Allan Poe with Dr. Hal Poe, and Tony Dingman. Dr. Hal Poe has written on the spiritual journey and conversion of Edgar Allan Poe in Edgar Allan Poe: An Illustrated Companion to his Tell Tale Stories, and Evermore: Edgar Allan Poe and The Mystery of the Universe. Tony Dingman has been bringing Poe’s words from the page the stage for 10 years in An Evening with Poe alongside actors Kelly Moore and Eric Franz.

Guests will receive The Complete Poetry of Edgar Allan Poe as part of this evening’s program, and can extend the evening by purchasing a combined ticket to see Poe’s words come to life in an evening with Poe that same evening (October 24th) or choose to come back during another evening of the seasonal performances taking place October: 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, and November : 1, 3, 4

Add on a ticket to attend a performance of An Evening of Poe Performance that same evening starting at 7:30 PM, or any other evening during his season’s run of the performance for an extra $10 for Frazier Members or $15 General Admission
