Panel Discussion on Public Art

Artists who lived in other times present complex, or complicated, stories in modern times, and Enid Yandell is no exception. Her father joined the Confederate Army and she made a bust of John Castleman, a one-time Confederate officer whose statue in Louisville has been defaced several times, This part of her heritage will be part of the discussion featuring a panel that includes Susan Rademacher, parks curator for the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy; and Sarah Lindgren, Metro Commission on Public Art. Other panelists will be announced.
