Tiny Tours & Tastings at the Frazier

We are excited to announce a new program, Tiny Tours & Tastings. This program will allow groups with a minimum of eight folks to access the Frazier at a group rate of $10 per person. This special rate will provide the group with access to the entire museum, an opportunity to see KentuckyShow!, various tours, gallery highlights, a 10% discount in the Museum Store, and free parking.

Additionally, Bourbon tastings can be added for patrons over 21 years of age for as little as an additional $10 per person. Guided Tours of select exhibitions can also be made available as an upgrade for $5 per person. See below for details about our Tiny Tours and Tastings and how you can book your experience at the Frazier.

Additionally, the Frazier is the Official Starting Point of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® and the home of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® Welcome Center. The Spirit of Kentucky® Bourbon exhibition provides a fantastic overview of the history of Bourbon, exploring why Bourbon is so vital to Kentucky. It’s also a great way to start any Kentucky Bourbon Trail® experience.

Stephen Yates leads a guided tasting in our Speakeasy.

Guided Gallery Tours

Create a one-of-a-kind, personalized tour for your group! You and the members of your group will be treated to a guided highlights tour of a pre-arranged gallery to learn the stories and history behind the artifacts.

Self-Guided Visits

With self-guided visits, the members of your group have the opportunity to explore the Frazier History Museum at their leisure.

Kentucky Bourbon Trail® Welcome Center

In 2018, the Frazier History Museum in partnership with the Kentucky Distillers’ Association developed the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® Welcome Center. Located on the first floor of the Frazier and open during museum hours with no cost of admission, the KBT® Welcome Center is the official starting point of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®. A professional and friendly concierge service is on hand to help visitors plan their trips to Bourbon distilleries around the state and navigate the hot spots of Louisville’s burgeoning bourbon, culinary, and nightlife scenes.

The Spirit of Kentucky®

This exhibition serves as a one-of-a-kind visual guide to the history, craft, and culture of Kentucky Bourbon, America’s only native spirit! It pays tribute to the enchanted physical features in Kentucky that lend themselves to Bourbon-making: hearty grains, white oak trees, and limestone-filtered water. Highlights include a covered bridge experience that immerses the visitor in the sights and sounds of Kentucky, a touch-screen table stocked with a digital library of Bourbon-related research content, and a Bourbon bottle hall whose vast collection will grow to include every brand of Bourbon being produced in the state of Kentucky.
