Cool Kentucky Homeschool Day

From basketball to bluegrass, magicians to musicians, and corvettes to caves – Kentucky is cool. It is home to some of America’s most talented people and the source of some of its greatest ideas. Through its diverse arts, customs, and achievements, KY possesses a unique culture that has helped change the world.

During this engaging visit students will explore many facets of the state, including its places, people, and landscape. The visit includes an investigation guide to complete in the Cool Kentucky exhibition, observation of primary source images and artifacts to make discoveries about our state and community, a centers-based craft and activity session, and a live presentation in the Brown-Forman Theatre. Families are invited to bring sack lunches to enjoy after the program ends and/or to stay for additional self-guided time in the museum galleries.

The program will run the full timeframe (not drop-in style). It is designed for grades K - 5, but all ages are welcome. Adults will participate in all activities with students.

One free adult per family. Tickets are non-refundable. Email education@fraziermuseum.org with any questions.
