Students will gain a better understanding of 19th century American history, migration and settlement, the impact of state and federal laws, and inspirational figures from our area.
The kit includes three lessons with materials and an overview binder for the educator leading the sessions. The audio components of the lessons will be emailed to you once the kit is mailed. A pre-paid mailing label will be included for educators to return the kit.
Add a video performance: Educators booking the travel kit have the option to add a video performance for $25.00. Options include recordings of “The Runaway” or “Thornton Blackburn”.
