An extension of her folk-opera The Way Forth (2019), Along the Way Forth is a documentary-style look at the inspiration, work, discoveries, and results of her time uncovering the life of Dolly, an enslaved member of Daniel Boone’s original group of settlers. Unraveling Dominion is a portion of the folk-opera paired with moving interpretive imagery. Rachel’s music is performed by members of the Louisville Orchestra, guitarist Nathan Salsburg, vocalist-percussionist Jecorey Arthur, and more.
