Winter Break Camps 2024
Join us for Winter Break Camp as we ring in the New Year and celebrate winter traditions! We’re offering four days of camps during the first week of January. Join us for one day – or for all four – as we explore the season through stories, games, and art. We’ll recreate some wild New Year traditions (perhaps a Romanian New Years Bear Dance?). We’ll learn about winter throughout human history and the natural world. And we’ll fill out the days by checking out items from the activity library, doing themed art activities, and offering plenty of opportunities for free play.

Winter Break Camp Week Two: Artists Aplenty
December 27-30 – Artists Aplenty
Defined broadly, an artist is someone who is really good at what they do. This week, we’ll look at people who’ve broken boundaries, made discoveries, and left their mark on the world—whether they made art, or made something into an art!
Monday, 12/27: Adventurers
Tuesday, 12/28: Inventors
Wednesday, 12/29: Artists and Authors
Thursday, 12/30: Athletes

Winter Break Camp Week One: Decades
December 20-23 – Decades
Life hasn’t always been like it is now—or has it? Join us for a celebration of the unique and universal from a specific period in time. You’ll learn about the highs and the lows, the weird and the wonderful. It will be a fun time-travelling journey every step of the way!
Monday 12/20: 1660s
Tuesday 12/21: 1710s
Wednesday 12/22 – 1830s
Thursday, 12/23 – 1970s
