Education Group Policies

General Policies

  • All official communications (updates to numbers, date change requests, etc.) should be made via email, either by being sent to your museum contact or education@fraziermuseum.org.

  • Education bookings must be made via the official electronic Inquiry Form. Grant funding will not be allocated until the Inquiry Form is received.

  • Education group bookings are not considered finalized until an official Frazier confirmation packet has been emailed to the main contact.

  • Please note that the Frazier History Museum cannot be held responsible for any guest’s (student, teacher, chaperone, volunteer, or otherwise) personal belongings such as coats, water bottles, lunches, electronic devices, etc. Please plan on you, a chaperone, a fellow teacher, or your students keeping track of these items to ensure that your visit goes smoothly.

Education Group Payment Policy

  • To qualify for the education group rate, payment for students and chaperones should be collected in advance and presented to the admissions desk upon arrival in one lump sum.

  • Payment is expected to be made in full on the day of your visit. Please bring the correct amount due based on the numbers in your group as we are NOT able to provide refunds for overpayment.

  • Required chaperones are free of charge. In order to receive the discounted educational rate, the cost for any extra adults must be included in the single payment.  Adults that pay separately from the group will be charged full-price admission.

  • Groups that do not meet the minimum requirement of 15 students have the option of paying for 15 at the education rate in order to experience the program.

  • Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the field trip. Groups that cancel within 48 hours of the planned visit will receive a $50 invoice mailed to the site.

  • Cancellations due to inclement weather are not subject to a fee.

  • Cancellations due to grant funding from the Frazier History Museum being unavailable are not subject to a fee.

  • A school group can reschedule with no penalty if reschedule is made within 48 hours of the originally scheduled visit.

  • Cancellations must be made separately with all locations booked in the case of a combination field trip. Groups booking with multiple sites should not depend on the separate sites to communicate with each other that a cancellation has been made. That responsibility is up to the party booking the trip.
